Shoes Maketh the Man

Spigola is a small Japanese operation based out of Kobe. It’s operated by Koji Suzuki, a talented, young cordwainer who trained under Roberto Ugolini. Trained in Florence, Suzuki learned the full process of bespoke shoemaking.

Suzuki’s early models were apparently very Italian inspired, as to be expected by his training but he has subsequently produced more English designs in recent times.

By all accounts there is a one or two year waiting list for Spigola shoes. I would suggest that they are worth the wait.

If I had only one shoe I could wear again for the rest of my life it would be a Koji Suzuki shoe.

Enjoy the beauty of a lovingly crafted shoe that just oozes class.
